The Rosenhof was first mentioned in 1516 as the "Taferne an der Gassen". And one thing is still unconsciously - consciously - present in every generation: to leave something behind for those who come after us, for the future and for 8850 Murau! Yes, we believe it is more than just a zip code - we feel that it is precisely this tradition that continues to carry us forward.
Once a horse changing station, accommodation business, inn, farm coupled with plenty of fertile soil - fields and meadows as far as the eye can see. These conditions were not always perceived as paradise. Fortunately, in the third millennium, the Styrian destination of Murau is included in paradise. Especially if you are looking for a serene retreat.
Unlike other tourist destinations, Murau does not aspire to dazzle and shine. The value lies in finding much that is original. We certainly find enough reasons to continue pitching our "family tent" here. After all, the "comfortable" lifestyle always feels good.
