Too bad you can't stroke wine.

Kurt Tucholsky

The best way to take a break is with a good glass of wine.

Fascinating Austrian classics through to complex, full-bodied "droplets" from our homeland are simply part of idleness in Murau. Immersing yourself in the diversity of the regional wine regions takes you away from everyday life one sip at a time. Of course - in addition to Burgenland and Lower Austria, our grape heart belongs to the wonderful wines from Styria.

As a trained wine sommelier, hostess Sabrina Ferner "wanders" with guests through Austria's picturesque vineyards in the hotel's own wine cellar. Real delicacies and rarities meet typical classics from the Alpine republic.

Exciting stories about the development, taste and diversity of grape varieties also await. The Austrian wine tradition enchants not only the palates of wine lovers with anecdotes.

MORE WINE CINEMA COMING SOON:
We are currently vinifying our own house wines in WHITE AND RED!
The first tastings will be available in the fall. Until then, we will let the Murau wine secret lie dormant for a while - so PSSST, we all want to be the first.

The winegrowers behind the scenes will be revealed in the "Upcoming Newsletters".

We deliberately focus on a craft that is more artistic than any other. Each wine tells its own story - from the birth of the vine to the depths of the cellar, where it can mature and age in peace with the winemaker's style and charm.

All ROHO wines were personally tasted with winemakers and partners. When tasting, it is important for us to understand the background of the winemaker and his vinification process. This is why the wines are tasted repeatedly over a period of days.

Good to know: Not every day is the same. Smelling, tasting and feeling is a new experience every day. And what makes a good wine? It always tastes good.
Sharing this grapey pleasure is a wonderful mission.
